Spring migrants (April 03, 2008) Birds are now singing and the spring migrants are starting to arrive. Chiff chaff and willow warbler are in the woods. Primroses are giving a good show and the bluebell leaves are growing fast. Also I have seen good patches of viloets on the verges.,these are important places for our wild flowers.
I look forward to this time of the year when everything is coming into bloom and the grass growing .
The cows are enjoying the sunshine on their backs and are ranging well looking for the new growth coming through. Click here to return to the News page
