The two 600 year old oak trees are green again fresh spring green. How amazing to think that these trees are still standing.
Where conifers have been removed cowslips in their hundreds are coming into flower. The seed has laid dormant and now the light has come they resurface.
Shetland cows are busy grazing and barely lift their heads to look at me.
Sitting with my back against a tree i sit amongst a sea of blue and the scent from the bluebells drifts on the wind. May is a very special time of the year.
Butterflies can also be seen common blue, orange tip, peacock, and that lovely yellow of the brimstone.
