FULL SWING (May 18, 2008)

Northamptonshire is looking very green after my week away in Suffolk. Cow parsley is now decorating the hedgerow verges and the bird breeding season is in full swing. Fields and fields of wheat and rape cover the countryside. The sky is blue and the water is blue. The cuckoo is calling and the woodpecker is busy chipping away. I saw a crow take away a dead rat at the side of the road they must be doing a really good job with rats on the increase. All the trees are now green and we have had some much needed rain to help the crops grow.
