SUMMER (June 20, 2008) Wonderful aroma from the dog roses and the elderflowers that brighten up the countryside. Birds love to eat the elderberries in the autumn. I have seen young grasssnakes . Heavy winds this week caused a lot of trees to shed leaves and the cattle were eating the ash keys and leaves that had been shed.
The crops are growing well in the fields and the blaze of red of the poppies really draws the eye.
