Autumn Colours (October 15, 2008)
The last few days we have seen the colours of autumn really begin to stand out and leaves are drifting down giving a carpet of many colours on the woodland floor. At daybreak today after the rain everywhere was smelling fresh.
Several fallow deer were out on the ride including one white, a small patch of buttercups linger on the woodland ride and a few other summer remnants. Buds are on the trees ready for next years leaves. Click here to return to the News page
