Snow (February 09, 2009)
There may be plenty of snow around but there are still signs of spring with the hazel catkins hanging down and the tiny pink flowers are out. Look for these next time you are out. Bulbs are pushing through in the pots above the snow. Nights are lgetting longer and the moon has been really big and bright these last few nights, almost like daylight.
Cows have had their meadow hay and getting through the winter well. When the sun shines you can feel the heat radiating out.
