Changes

(April 02, 2009)
Look around the landscape and you will see noticable changes in the form of field margins and grass strips alongside watercourses and hedgerows that have not been cut. All of these changes are becoming very noticable features of the landscape and will help to enhance and provide habitat for our wildlife. Along with food production the two can go hand.
Yellow brimstone butterflies are now dancing around the landscape and the spring migrants are arriving  daily. Swallows are back from Africa to spend the summer with us  and like to nest in old barns. Violets have had a very good year and it has been good to see them alongside the country roads.Cowslips are now pushing through and trees coming into leaf and the sweet smells coming  from the ground and in the air.
