Now we see the leaves turning colour and drifting off the trees as the nights get darker. But the stars are bright and with the cooler air we begin to feel change.

Green woodpecker was in the garen today. Goldfinches feed on the burdock seeds and  the hedgehog visits the gardn at night. Bats still fly around. The hornets around the chimney pot have kept the jackdaws amused and so the year rolls on as we wait for the rains to come.
