With spring in the air life is really starting to wake up. Birds are singing and the crops are growing. My three shetlands are getting used to their field. Sunshine came over the other night and kicked her back legs in the air and came to a halt followed by the other two. Violets are doing well this year on the roadsides and plenty are coming up at Southwick. The first cowslip was out on the green. The stream is flowing really fast after all this rain. Hazel buds are breaking open and the crops are growing in the fields along with that spring smell in the air and with the warmer days to follow. Click here to return to the News page
