Come on I call "THE COWS"
They answer with a moo
One by one they make their way
Standing around looking at me
Eyes deeply stare
Black and white but the spirit shines through
Together we stand as the red kite flies
Whistling to one another
and the cows know too
I say goodbye and answer they do
Intelligent creatures and deeply wise
Only us humans beings barely can rise
Instinct guides them around
For us it has to be tested
But wise they are cure they can
On a life of herbs and leaves
Where man used to stand
Mighty the oaks fallen some are
History sits deeply in the bark
Look if you can at 600 years
Roots have taken them through
and some still stand
Deeply rooted where hapiness is
With Shetland cattle as old as them too
Only us humans will come and go
Changing the landscape from old to new
Wood pasture again nature is there
Peace, stillness reigns and the field maple stare
Southwick woods is back again
